Drakes 1860 Plantation X Bitters Bottle Civil War NiceSt. Drakes plantation x bitter's bottle. Up for auction is this very old st. Drakes bitter's bottle. This bottle is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips of ayn kind. The color of this old bitters bottle is a beautiful dark amber color. I would say it is almost a rootbeer color.
The front of the bottle reads st. Drakes 1860 plantation x bitters. On the back of the bottle it reads patented 1862 the bottle si designed to look like an old log cabin. The neck off the bottle tapers and there are three levels of the roof fo the cabin. One two sides of this bottle there is a log design from top to bottom.
nO the other two sides there are six logs and then a smooth area below. This fine bitters bottle stands 10 inchse tall by 2 7/8 inches across the bottom. This old st. Drakes bitter's bottle would be an excellent addition to any bottle collection or a fantastic bottle to start a new collection!
