Original Mcclellan Saddle Calvary Civil War VintageAuction is for this great original mcclellan cavalry saddle. It has a brass shield in front that shows it is an 11 inch seat, and many brass plates adn buckles. There are some identification marks stamped on the left rear, i can make out the letter d, see hpoto #4. It is in very good condition, has some areas that threads are missing. Photos make saddle look more tanner than it is. I am not a collector of saddles, so i can only state what i was told of this saddle. See photos, and please ask questions if you are not sure. |
